“God's People, Reaching Out," is a synopsis of our mission statement. God's People emphasizes our gracious Lord's initiative in acting to claim us as His people. In matters of faith God always comes first. Gathering around Baptism, God's Word and the Lord's Supper, we hear God's promises and we are shaped to reflect the image of our God. Reaching Out is our response to God. Reaching out looks first into our homes and daily lives; second at our mission in our community; and then seeks our mission in the nation and the world. We care and we enjoy being together. We believe God is gracious and merciful. Worship of our Lord is the fountainhead from which flows the life of Messiah Lutheran Church. Our Lutheran heritage offers rich traditions to celebrate.
