The Adult Discussion Sunday School Class is doing a new study which will continue through the 2011-2012 School Year. This study is based on the book A Spiritual Life: Perspectives from Poets, Prophets, and Preachers Edited by Allan Hugh Cole, Jr. The 24 chapters are individual essays.
There are two dozen compelling writers including Sheri Reynolds, Gail Godwin, Richard Osmer, William Willimon and many others. The editor's first sentence in his preface begins: "This book explores the spiritual life." Please feel free to join this class any time during the year. Although it started at the beginning of the book several weeks ago, each essay is a stand alone discussion so no one should feel lost if they move in and out of this class during times of travel.
