Mother/Daughter Luncheon in the Parish Hall
2-4 PM
An afternoon Bible study on Thursdays, starting
at 1 PM and stopping at 2 PM. All studies start and stop on time.
People are invited to come early for coffee and tea. Contact Judy Johnston . WILL RESUME IN SEPTEMBER 2008
AARP Driver Safety Program
is an 8-hour classroom refresher that can help you learn the effects of aging on driving and how your driving can be adjusted. www.aarp.org/drive. Instructor: Bob Loshuertos
New member receptions
: We welcome new members at various times throughout the year.
The receptions give everyone a chance to meet and get to know one
another. If you are interested in joining our church family,
please contact Pastor Peterson or the church office.
Wednesday Night Cafe': Join
us Wednesday evenings for a meal beginning at 5:30 pm., then stay
around to enjoy choir, bells or an adult class led by Pastor Peterson.

OWLs (Older Wiser LutheranS):
The OWLS are a loosely knit group of folks (over 50 years of age)
who get together once a month for an activity. These activities
vary from a Potluck at the church, Sunday brunch at a restaurant, a
visit to the Botanical Garden, to attending the "Living Christmas Tree"
concert.
Messiah on Wheels a new fellowship group of motorcycle
enthusiasts. Contact Tom Fedrick for more information.
Inaugural ride...July 28, 2007.
Potluck Luncheons: couldn't be Lutherans without them! The meal starts right after late service in the Parish Hall.
Annual event held in October (near Halloween). Bring your special recipe of chili. Who will win the coveted Chili trophy this year?
Costume contest forthe kids as well as games, treats and
the "Monster Mash" karaoke!
Church Picnic: Held annually in conjunction with Sunday School Rally day- usually in mid August!
Easter Egg Hunt: held the Saturday before Palm Sunday. Everyone is welcome to enjoy searching for hidden eggs- especially the RESURRECTION EGGS!
