Messiah's worship life is enhanced by the vocal and instrumental gifts of many people through our adult and youth choirs, children’s choirs, bell choirs, and instrument ensembles, adding to the beauty and enjoyment of worship each week. Worship at Messiah  is enjoyed in many styles and formats, from traditional Lutheran liturgy and hymns through contemporary songs.

We know that people respond in positive ways to many different styles of music, and we work to incorporate those styles in our worship.

Music Camp-   "Man With A Mission"
Messiah's 16th Annual Music Camp June 8-12, 2009
During the morning hours the  children  learn a  Christian  musical and spend their afternoons at off-site activities including swimming, skating, and bowling.  Volunteers help  with song and line memorization, costumes, set design, props, snacks, crafts and recreation. On Sunday, June 14, the musical will be presented in both services of worship.  If you would like to help in any way, contact Lois Graff.

Instrumentalists and Solos
Instrumentalists of all kinds and abilities are welcome to share their gifts with the congregation in solo, ensemble and large group settings. Contact Lois Graff to learn how you can use your instrument in God’s praise!

Special Music Offerings - Individuals, duets, small groups and other opportunities are always available for those who wish to share their gifts in worship!

Sight and Sound Team -  Singers or non-singers can help our music ministers by setting up and taking down equipment used for our presentations, including sound technicians. This team would help with contemporary services and special services including cantatas and children’s presentations.

Dinner Theater-  A night of fellowship, fun, laughter, music...and always a surprise or two!  Click here for photos and more information.

Ring and Sing
Held annually in early December features music from adult, youth and children bell and vocal groups.  In addition, there will be an opportunity for the audience to ring handchimes as an accompaniment for Christmas carols. The concert is free.
